Google appears to be throwing it’s hat in the AI competitive ring, as they are gearing up to hold an event regarding search and AI next week and will explain how it’s “using the power of AI to reimagine how people search for, explore and interact with information, making it more natural and intuitive than ever before to find what you need”, according to The Verge.
The event, which will be 40-minutes long, will be streamed on YouTube on February 8th at 8:30am EST.
The event will come on the heels of an announcement from Google CEO Sundar Pichai who just announced that the company is planning on letting people “interact directly” with its “newest, most powerful language models as a companion to search” soon.
With Microsoft reportedly planning to integrate ChatGPT into Bing, which would be a massive boost for their search engine, Google is likely feeling the pressure.
On the search side of things, it will be interesting to see how impactful it is for the Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization industries, particularly in niche sectors such as Medical SEO and even localized markets like Miami SEO (for example).
Stay tuned for more, and a recap of what was discussed at the event following it’s conclusion.
