Transform your Mini SIM to Micro SIM and Use it with iPad and iPhone

We know that only Micro SIM is worked with Apple iPad or iPhone 4 not the Mini SIM that we normally use in our Mobile phone. The size of Micro SIM is very small as compared to Mini SIM. The people who bring Apple 3G compatible devices i.e. iPhone and iPad in India ,now realized that the both devices only work with Micro SIM that are not yet available in India.

At present time in India, 3G services are only offered by state telecom PSU’s BSNL and MTNL but the problem is that all these companies only produced Mini SIM not Micro SIM.

For all those people who can not live without using iPhone and iPad , we describe a simple process of transformation. Through this process you can easily convert your Mini SIM to Micro SIM that will be perfectly fit to iPad and iPhone.

The measured dimensions of a Micro SIM are 12mm height and 15 mm width whilst that of Mini SIM is 15 mm by 25 mm. The plastic area makes the difference between both Chips .There is no difference in the Electronic contact area of both .So we have to fill this gap of Micro SIM and Mini SIM just by cutting the unnecessary plastic area.

If you want to get a Micro SIM for iPhone or iPad then you need to follow some instructions as shown in the pictures below.

Your Micro SIM is ready, insert it into iPhone or iPad and enjoy!
